Winter Outfit Ideas

Winter Outfit Ideas

The darker nights are setting in and we are definitely feeling the chill. It's time to layer up, but how do you look stylish when you are completely layered and covered up? From coats, tops, scarves and hats, we've pulled together some winter outfit ideas to keep you feeling snug and stylish whether you are just going to the office, a shopping trip or night out.

Outfit 1

When you think of winter, cosy knit sweaters and coats come to mind, but it's not time to put away the floaty tops and blouses just yet. These kind of tops work well when layered during the colder months. To make this work for winter, start with the base layers; try something like this holly salmon and teal paisley blouse and fleece lined leggings. Add to this a knitted cardigan, our cora salmon knit cardigan with pleated belt is the perfect layering piece. Team up with a scarf with blue tones and bag, such as this powder blue bag with gold chain detail. And to finish the look.....some sunglasses. It may be cold but the sun is still here (well, some of the time).

Outfit 2

For the base layers with outfit number two, we have gone for a simple knitted top in cream and teamed it with some biker look leggings in black. Complementing the top is the must-have coat of the season, the Teddy coat in beige and cream. Complete the outfit with camel or taupe gloves and hat, just to keep everything tonal.

Outfit 3

Working with the same base layers as above, cream top and black leggings, or your favourite jeans, you are then free to introduce any colour. Elegant and understated, a belted coat is a style classic that never dates and will reliably take you from from everyday to dressed up seamlessly.  To complete the look, try adding another style staple for anytime of year, leopard print! We've added a scarf with leopard print and fedora hat, and think its a fabulous look.
